To cutover from an existing Merchant's DSP to a new DSP due to a business change in which a new Merchant is broken-out from an existing MSA.
1.Generate new CSR and Private Key via Open SSL for Merchant (Responsible Party: Merchant)
2.Submit the new Merchant CSR via the Merchant Portal (Responsible Party: Merchant)
3.Setup a new XiSecure profile (DSP) for Merchant (Responsible Party: B2B Payments)
4.Sign the CSR and generate a Client certificate for Merchant that has access to the new DSP (Responsible Party: B2B Payments)
5.Detokenize all credit card tokens that Merchant currently has stored in its customer database using the old PBMS Certificate (Responsible Party: Merchant)
6.Reconfigure all existing Merchant XIIDs to use the new XiSecure DSP (Responsible Party: B2B Payments)
7.Tokenize all raw credit card numbers that Merchant currently has stored in its customer database using the new Merchant Certificate (Responsible Party: Merchant)
NOTE: During steps 5, 6 and 7 transactional activities should be temporarily suspended. Step 6 must be coordinated with B2B Payments Onboarding. Also if Merchant does not store tokens in the database of its payments system, then steps 5 and 7 will not be necessary but all the other steps are still required to separate the token profile of the two entities. If Pitney has someone on staff who can handle the Merchant activities then consulting assistance may not be required.
